Project Background
Eva Evans' work, "Archangel Tales," is a children's book published in e-book format, guiding readers into the marvelous world of archangels. The commission to create the book's illustrations was awarded to the Galantusz Graphics team, known for their successful completion of numerous projects in the past.
Defining the Tasks
- Bringing to life the characters and scenes envisioned by the author was no simple task. In designing the illustrations, we had to shape the story's characters based on Eva Evans' specific ideas, paying special attention to the main little girl's emotions and mood changes in relation to the storyline. Following the writer's guidelines, a total of 15 book illustrations were created, capturing the story's crucial moments.
The Creative Process
- During the creation of the book illustrations, we emphasized authentic depictions of emotions and interactions among the characters. The images were made on paper, adding a tangible, warm atmosphere to the final outcome, which is particularly important for a children's book. A delicate, detail-oriented approach was employed in the illustrations' creation, allowing each image to tell its story and add depth to the reading experience.
The Outcome
- The "Archangel Tales" book illustrations do not merely accompany the text; they unfold and enrich the stories' world, enabling readers to fully immerse themselves in Eva Evans' amazing universe. The special attention given to depicting the characters' feelings and the story's spirit contributes to making the book a unique and unforgettable experience.
