Illustrations for a musical children’s book about good manners
Czmerk-Prisztács Edit approached us to create illustrations for her upcoming musical children’s book. Mindentudó illemtudó uses song-like verses written to well-known children’s melodies, along with short “smart stories”, to introduce children to good manners, everyday etiquette and social situations.

A storybook world built around well-known children’s songs
The book is built around song-like verses written to well-known children’s melodies, combined with short stories that introduce basic rules of behaviour. The illustrations needed to support this playful, educational but light tone, so that the material would feel like an enjoyable storybook rather than a list of rules.
Portrait-format interior illustrations created on paper
The book included portrait-format interior illustrations, created using traditional techniques on paper. This gave the images a warmer, more personal quality, fitting the everyday situations and child-centred tone of the book.
Supporting drawings for the cover
In addition to the interior illustrations, smaller supporting drawings were created for the book cover. Their role was to suggest the friendly, child-focused character of the book at first glance, while staying visually connected to the atmosphere of the interior pages.
Everyday situations made understandable for children
The stories touch on situations that children and families often meet in daily life, such as visiting someone, playing at the playground, eating in a restaurant, going to the doctor and other familiar social settings. The illustrations needed to present these scenes in a friendly, clear and approachable way, so that good manners could become a natural starting point for conversation rather than a strict lesson.
